Ferretti Group, protagonist of the Monaco Yacht Show, reveals the projects of the Super Yacht Yard

Monte Carlo, September 26th 2018 – Latona 50, the new powerful and dynamic masterpiece by CRN, is the star of Ferretti Group's fantastic fleet at the 28th edition of the Monaco Yacht Show. The fleet is completed by three models of incomparable beauty: the semi-displacement Custom Line Navetta 42, the planing Custom Line 120', and the Riva 110' Dolcevita flybridge.

During the press conference that took place in the morning of the opening of the show, Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group, revealed, together with the Chief Commercial Officer Stefano de Vivo, the investments in the super and mega yacht sector, the new projects of the upcoming flagships and the new Riva, Pershing and CRN mega yachts currently under construction.

“Now more than ever, success belongs to those who move fast, in the direction of the market and today the market looks with increasing interest to large yachts. It is precisely in the segment of pleasure yachts, that we are investing capital, resources, and all our know-how to consolidate ourselves as a worldwide reference point for excellence and design” declared Alberto Galassi. "The numbers are proving us right and convince us that pursuing beauty means conquering the market”.

The super yachts occupy an increasingly important place in the Group's plans: in the next three-year period 2019-2021, there will be 13 new projects over 30 meters compared to the 8 presented in the previous three years and 66 new boats in the segment of super and maxi yachts.

There are currently 5 new pleasure yachts under construction at the Ancona shipyard, ready to be launched in 2019: the two units of Pershing 140, the Riva 50 meters, the largest boats ever built by the respective brands, the CRN 137 of 62 meters and the CRN 135 of 79 meters.

In the first 8 months of 2018 the Group achieved a production value of 420 million euros, +22% compared to the same period of 2017. The estimates for 2018 are confirmed, which foresee a production value of 704 million euros.

The investments, which have always been the cornerstone of Ferretti Group's growth strategy, increased to 153.5 million euros in the 2015-2018 four-year period, of which about 30% allocated to the design and development of yachts over the 30 meters.

The Group chose the Monaco Yacht Show, scheduled from September 26th to 29th, for the world debut of the new CRN flagship. Launched last February and delivered in May, Latona 50 meters is projected by CRN’s Engineering and Interiors&Design Departments in collaboration with Zuccon International Project.

For this edition of the Monaco Yacht Show, Ferretti Group was flanked as always by prestigious luxury brands: Culti, whose enchanting essences seduced guests, journalists and ship owners; Dolce & Gabbana, longtime partner with the Ferretti Group for uniforms; Frette, that signed the luxurious linens of the Custom Line models; Sabrina Montecarlo, provided the precious furnishing accessories of Riva and Custom Line yachts; Zimmer+Rohde, supplier of high-end, modern and innovatively designed fabrics; La Scolca delighted visitors with its selection of wines; Samsonite provided business luggage to the Ferretti Group staff; Seabob was once again present with the limited edition seatoys made specifically for the Group's brands; Slam, was the official supplier of Ferretti Group crew uniforms; Emirates Airlines offered advantageous airfares.

CRN LATONA 50
With her 50 meters in length, 9.20 meters beam, five big decks, the Latona stands out for her perfect balance between the sleek lines of the hull, the streamlined bow, the spacious interior and exterior volumes, and the refined turquoise shade of the hull. The Liberty style and the precious details, due to a long-standing craftsmanship, result in a harmonious ensemble pervading all decks thanks to soft and sinuous lines, constant style which unites all areas of the yacht. The design solutions implemented by CRN make possible to fully enjoy the navigation experience, thanks to a balcony that can be enjoyed even when cruising and a terrace that can be opened when the boat is at anchor. The float-in garage allows the entry into the water of the tender without the use of a crane and transforming a purely technical environment into an open air living area integrated into the beach club.

CUSTOM LINE NAVETTA 42

Navetta 42 is the first vessel in the history of the brand to exceed 300 GT. The superyacht proposes a concept of the completely customisable interior spaces that best showcases the ship’s generous volumes. The result is better organization of on-board flows, total privacy for the owner and his guests, and great freedom of movement for the captain and crew. A vast suite on the main deck is available to the owner, while the layout of the lower deck provides 4 VIP cabins for guests. The stern area is entirely dedicated to leisure, conceived as a large beach club at sea level, and its entertainment function is enhanced by the new launching and retrieval system for tenders and water toys from the garage that opens from the side into the sea. The new flagship of the fleet is the result of the collaboration between Studio Zuccon International Project and the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department.

CUSTOM LINE 120’

Custom Line 120’ is the first Custom Line to bear the signature of Francesco Paszkowski Design, the design studio that partnered with Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department. This unique yacht reimagines and combines stylistic features and elements of automotive design and residential architecture, adding in-depth research which enhances forms and volumes through furnishing choices in line with the very latest trends of contemporary living. Of note is the innovative glass door that gives access to the lounge; in addition to the usual slide opening of the two glass panels, it also has a tilting mechanism providing a 45° inclination. In addition, Custom Line 120’ is the first yacht that makes it possible to directly connect the flybridge to the forward zone by means of the side passageways with access from the monkey bridge as well, creating a single large deck of 100 square meters.

RIVA 110’ DOLCEVITA

It’s the new fiberglass flagship of the fleet and the second-born, following Riva 100’ Corsaro, of the brand’s updated flybridge range. Characterised by a super-sporty profile and a design enhanced by shaped glass windows and chrome-plated inserts, Riva 110’ Dolcevita is the result of the collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the studio founded by Mauro Micheli along with Sergio Beretta, and Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department. Like a luxurious loft, open to the sea on every side, Riva 110’ Dolcevita offers 270° of absolute visibility and enables the lounge to reach a height of 2.30 meters, thanks to a large stainless steel frame that supports the superstructure, acting as a frame for the floor-to-ceiling windows. In addition to the innovative “spider frame” structure, one of the particular features of this model is the total liveability of the spaces. The exterior areas of the flybridge and bow are interconnected, thus creating an “infinity deck” of approximately 34 m2 of social areas from extreme stern to extreme bow, in a single solution of continuity.
