Ancona, September 22, 2026 – The new wonder of the seas is a masterpiece of boundless beauty. From September 23 to 26, the absolute star of the Monaco Yacht Show 2026 will be Riva 54Metri, the largest Riva ever built. With an all-aluminium construction and a gross tonnage of 499 GT, the new flagship elevates the Riva legend to unprecedented heights, offering a new take – at an unexplored scale – on the signature features that have given the brand its iconic status in the yachting world.
Designed, like all Riva masterpieces over the last thirty years, by Officina Italiana Design – the firm founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta and the exclusive designer of Riva’s entire range, in collaboration with Ferretti Group's Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department – Riva 54Metri’s defining features are balanced proportions, a sleek silhouette and purity of line, which work together to create a vision of extraordinary harmony. Contemporary details and sculpted surfaces, enhanced by metallic finishes, add depth and a three-dimensional quality to the yacht’s profile.
Riva 54Metri will be joined by Riva 130’ Bellissima, the tri-deck range flagship produced at the brand’s La Spezia shipyard, by Riva 96’ Argo Super and by the Aquarama #747 restored by Riva Classiche.
RIVA 54METRI
The result of an in-depth design process, Riva 54Metri is 54.83 metres long and has a maximum beam of 9.18 metres, with a gross tonnage of 499 GT. The yacht’s sleek lines, perfectly balanced proportions and sculpted surfaces give her a striking and powerfully expressive presence, pointed up by a sophisticated colour palette and polished steel detailing, both signature features of the Riva tradition.
The heart of the design approach is the ever-present connection with the water, achieved by a series of spacious, panoramic settings and natural continuity between interiors and exteriors. The expansive full-height windows offer multiple views of the horizon, while numerous outdoor areas and the fold-out bulwarks extend the beach area and the cockpit, transforming them into what are best described as terraces reaching out over the water.
The same pursuit of harmony is showcased in the interiors, where fine materials and exquisite craftsmanship breathe life into a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere. Natural teak, Sahara Noir and Bianco Rhino marble (respectively from Tunisia and Africa), and leather detailing interact in the framework of an elegant composition that expresses Riva’s ability to blend heritage with contemporary style.
Fitted with two MTU 12V2000-M96L engines, Riva 54Metri has a top speed of 18 knots.
