Sarnico, September 2, 2026 – Riva is gearing up to steal the scene at major international boat shows with two new models that tell the story – in different size segments and with different concepts – of the brand’s signature ability to keep reinterpreting its style and design vision.

At the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, held from September 8 to 13, Riva will be presenting the world premieres of Riva 56’ Rivale Super and Riva 96’ Argo Super, two evolutions of highly successful models that perfectly combine the brand's signature sportiness, elegance and connection with the water, as seen through a contemporary lens. Also on show alongside the two world premieres will be Riva Aquariva Special, Riva 58’ Capri, Riva 88’ Folgore Riva 102’ Corsaro Super and Riva Iseo Super which will welcome visitors at the entrance of the Show.

From October 1 to 6, Riva is also attending the Genoa International Boat Show 2026, where it will present Riva 56’ Rivale Super, the new open yacht that showcases a sporty and elegant design, renewing one of the most iconic models in the range.

Both models are designed by Officina Italiana Design, the firm founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta and the exclusive designer of the entire Riva range for over 30 years, working with Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee and Engineering Department.

RIVA 56’ RIVALE SUPER

Riva 56’ Rivale Super embodies the evolution of one of the open yachts that best represents the range, following a sophisticated restyling operation which preserves the bold personality of the original model and results in an even more balanced and contemporary look.

With a length of 17.27 metres and a maximum beam of 4.74 metres, Riva 56’ Rivale Super showcases a new deck profile in the windscreen area, featuring a counter-curve that gives the silhouette an even sleeker and more up-to-date look. The side grilles are now the same colour as the hull, emphasising the clean lines of the yacht’s sophisticated surfaces, while a series of ergonomic solutions in the cockpit further improve comfort and usability.

Riva 56’ Rivale Super is available in a standard version powered by twin MAN V8-1000 engines rated at 1,000 HP, delivering a top speed of 34 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots, while the optional configuration with two 1,200 HP MAN V8-1200 units increases the top speed to 38 knots and the cruising speed to 32 knots (preliminary data).

 RIVA 96’ ARGO SUPER

Evolving the famous Riva 96’ Argo, Riva 96’ Argo Super is designed to offer an even more enjoyable on-board experience in contact with the sea, maintaining the balance between performance, comfort and elegance that sets every Riva model apart. With a length overall of 28.79 metres and a maximum beam of 6.50 metres, this new flybridge yacht introduces important design innovations that enhance the layout, the feeling of continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces, and the living experience on board.

The main new developments include the completely redesigned stern and beach area, intensifying the sense of connection with the water: a generous sunpad is incorporated in the garage door, while the swim platform next to it can be raised and lowered for easy access to the water. The introduction of a day head on the main deck results in optimum use of space, while the lounge – available in two configurations – underscores indoor-outdoor continuity.

There has also been a special focus on natural light and comfort in the interiors. The full-beam master suite features larger windows and a new furniture arrangement that showcases the sea view, while on the lower deck owners can choose between the standard configuration with three spacious guest cabins – including a full-beam VIP suite aft of a size comparable to a second master suite – or the four-cabin layout. The new interior design language combines glossy wengé wood, pale matt oak, mirrored surfaces and polished steel accents, creating sophisticated light-filled settings.

The first Riva 96’ Argo Super is fitted with two MTU 12V 2000 M96X engines rated at 2,000 HP, delivering a top speed of 26.5 knots and a cruising speed of 22.5 knots; the optional engine configuration of twin MTU 12V 2000 M96Z units rated at 2,222 HP drives the yacht to speeds of 28 and 24 knots respectively (preliminary data).
