In partnership with its historic dealers Lengers Yachts and Poroli Special Boats, the Group will put on display as a premiere for the German market Ferretti Yachts 690 by Ferretti, together with the models Rivale, Aquariva Super and one historic unit of Aquarama Special for the prestigious brand Riva. In addition, Pershing 64’ for the brand Pershing and Dolphin 44’ for the brand Mochi Craft will also be on display.

On the occasion of this edition, it will also be possible to have a look at the crafts of the Group during the late opening of Boot, scheduled on Tuesday 21st January, when the booths will be open to be visited by the guests of the gala event that will take place at the exclusive Blue Motion Lounge.

Furthermore, for the 2014 edition, Ferretti Group will present a series of side initiatives: Poroli Special Boats has prepared a corner by Riva at the exclusive Steigenberger Hotel, where guests and visitors can get to know in details the history of the world famous brand Riva. Besides that, two windows at the entrance of the Sarar boutique on the Königsallee, one of the most elegant German boulevards, will display a scale model of Aquarama by Riva for the whole duration of the Boat Show. Finally, a scale model of Riva 86’ Domino will be on display in a window of the famous Jades boutique, on Breite Straße.

“Our presence at the International Boat Show in Düsseldorf represents a particularly important event for our Group, because it allows us to meet clients, journalists, and dealers coming from all over Central and Northern Europe personally. On the occasion of this edition we will put on display as a premiere for the German market one of the new models of the brand Ferretti, Ferretti Yachts 690, together with some of the most successful models of our brands Pershing, Riva, and Mochi Craft” - declared Ferruccio Rossi, Ferretti Group’s CEO.

BOOT 2014 GERMAN PREMIÈRE:

Ferretti Yachts 690
Revealed for the first time at 2012 Cannes boat show, the Ferretti Yachts 690 is a further step forward of the Ferretti fleet, characterized by the new design of outer lines, which are now sportier, with a sleeker and more dynamic profile. The wider glazing makes exteriors lighter and provides an amazing quantity of natural light to interior spaces. The interiors of the Ferretti Yachts 690, 21,07 metres long and 5,53 metres wide, are spacious and wisely organised, in order to exploit living areas at their best in both layouts. Volumes are notably enlarged by the natural light coming in from the wide windows. The main deck features a rational distribution of spaces. Its elegant lines make it incredibly wider compared to the previous Ferretti 660. A vertically sliding glass partition allows separating this area from the rest of the saloon or leaving it open, turning the main deck into a large open space. The dining area and the sofa are located in the central part of the deck, enjoying wider spaces and featuring the utmost comfort for the guests. The flybridge has been renewed and bears witness to Ferretti’s great care for indoor and outdoor layout optimisation. Only the bar unit located near the access staircase has been maintained from previous models; everything else has been entirely redesigned so as to ensure all guests the utmost comfort.
Two drive options are available for the Ferretti Yachts 690. The yacht is equipped with two MTU 8V 2000 M84, 1102 mph engines in the standard version or can be fitted, as an option, with two MTU 8V 2000 M94, 1268 mph engines. When equipped with the standard engines, this yacht will reach a maximum speed of 30 knots (with a range of 280 nautical miles) and a cruising speed of 27 knots (in this case the range increases to 300 nautical miles). When the optional, more powerful engines are installed, the maximum speed will be 33 knots (with a range of 250 nautical miles), the cruising speed 30 knots (range - 280 nautical miles). The new set of compact, highly performing engines also allows to save space in the engine room, where a second optional genset can therefore be installed, making the Ferretti 690’s technical features comparable to those found on much larger yachts.
