The new model, revealed at the world première in Sarnico, is an ideal opportunity to experience the excellence of Riva concentrated in an open yacht of unmistakable style. The creation of a new Riva boat always involves a challenge to state-of-the-art yachting and a leap forward resulting in the addition of a new star to a universe studded with legends.56’ Rivale, the masterpiece which further expands the open yacht fleet, was presented to the world on 10th June during “Reflection”, a magnificent event celebrating the timeless elegance of Riva in the place where the legend was born 175 years ago: the historic Sarnico shipyard. The event saw the unveiling of the new 56’ Rivale as it sailed through a wall of mirrors built on the waters of Iseo Lake. The dinner for the highly selected group of 300 international guests was personally prepared by Massimo Bottura, the world-renowned chef of the three-Michelin-starred restaurant Osteria Francescana in Modena, and saw the participation of the Gritti Palace in Venice, part of the Starwood Group and the only luxury hotel with a Riva Lounge, set right on Canalgrande. For the occasion, the Italian artist Mimmo Paladino realized especially for Riva a masterpiece called Angelo di Prua, painting on the mahogany wood with maple inlays of the iconic Aquariva bow. The shipyard hosted other works of art by the artist, all in Transavangarde style made between the 80ies and the half of the 90ies.Another great Italian icon was also featured at this memorable evening: Abarth. The FCA Group presented the special limited edition 695 Rivale, inspired by the lines, colours and stylistic traits of the 56’ Rivale.“We lived a memorable day: the introduction of the new 56’ Rivale in Sarnico, where everything started and where every debut becomes unforgettable. This fantastic and charming open yacht, powerful and technological, has the privilege to glide on 175 years in the history of Riva. It inherits his name from its predecessor, even being completely new in its hull, lines, engines and technological solutions. This is because, as for every iconic product that made brand’s history, the name remains in its progressive evolution. The new 56’ Rivale is a masterpiece with no rival” explained Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group.THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE NEW OPEN56’ Rivale expresses great dynamism, elegance and sportiness from the moment you set your eyes on it, thanks to the design elements that have made Riva open yachts unique in the world. The new 56-foot Riva yacht is the product of the joint efforts of Officina Italiana Design, the Ferretti Group's Product Strategy Committee and the Engineering Department, which have conceived, designed and created a boat with a unique style, excellent performance at sea and cutting-edge technological solutions, including:- the large glazed windows running along the hull, with flush portholes;- the striking metallic colours of the exteriors, with stylish details in steel and teak. The hull of the first vessel is in a magnificent Shark Grey shade with details in Bright Black;- the unique windshield protecting the cockpit, a true masterpiece of engineering and design which completes the aerodynamic profile of the yacht.56’ Rivale combines the utmost attention to every detail with the use of the finest quality materials - the distinctive hallmarks of the brand - from the high gloss mahogany of the interiors to the natural teak of the exteriors, as well as lacquered finishes, stainless steel details, mirrored and glazed surfaces, and superior leathers. The completely new hull further enhances the most popular technical, comfort and innovative yachting features that have led to the success of Riva craft in recent years. A thin aquamarine-coloured line is a motif shared by the fabulous coupé models, the futuristic convertibles and the iconic Rivamare, of which the new 56’ Rivale can be regarded as the “big brother”.EXTERIORSThe stern, whose garage houses a Williams 325 tender protected by a hatch in double shell carbon fibre, features a major innovation: during underwater movement of the swimming platform, the steps on the left become partially submerged revealing additional steps in the hull, providing a single most convenient stairway for getting into the water and back on board without having to use the steel ladder, although available for use.In the cockpit, at the far end of the stern, there is a large sun pad. The mooring equipment is housed in compartments set in the bulwark; these are covered by grilles made in stainless steel, as is the fairlead.Underneath the roll bar, which adds a beautiful finishing touch to the profile and acts as a supporting structure for the antennas of the electronic apparatus, the main deck lounge features a spacious, forward-facing sitting area completed with L-shaped sofa and teak dining table on the left. This convivial area continues through to the forward section with a raised dormeuse, on the left of the new bridge, equipped with control, monitoring and navigation systems featuring touchscreen displays, including MAN-Boening's innovative wide version engine data display.Behind the control station is a cabinet unit set along the bulwark, which houses a fridge, ice-maker, grill, sink and bar equipment for at least 6 people. As with the Rivamare, there are practical containers for separate waste collection as well as various storage compartments running all the way to the helm seat and integrated into its base.In case of bad weather, or if the owner simply wants some shade, the electro-hydraulically operated bimini top can be opened as can the clear side shields, offering excellent shelter and protection for the whole area. The foredeck has a reclining sun pad that can be protected with a top. In addition to the sun pad there is a glazed floor with a special non-slip surface, set into a stainless steel frame completed by the warning horn fitted in a marvellous vintage case. The case, made from polished cast stainless steel, is a tribute to the glorious Riva vessels of the past. The sun pads, seating and outdoor sofas are upholstered in an original Mambo Artic technical fabric exclusively created for Riva.INTERIORSBelow deck, the 56’ Rivale offers its guests the comfort of a very elegant lounge-dinette, where mirrored surfaces alternate with varnished mahogany, dark lacquered woods and dark leather coverings. The resulting interplay of different colours and materials is the “signature” of Riva interiors.Sofas and ottoman seats are covered in fabric created by Ivano Redaelli, an Italian company that supplied the decorative cushions and tartan blanket too. The wall-to-wall carpet is manufactured by the Dutch company Van Besouw. The galley, situated on the port side, is partly invisible thanks to the mirrored walls - where the TV screen is located - and the sliding lacquered surfaces covering the sink and work tops. It features a host of storage cabinets and, in the fridge area, a unit equipped with the bar set includes a special compartment for storing a Champagne magnum.A glass hatch cover, in addition to the large hull windows, ensures there is abundant natural light in the galley. The independent day head, accessed directly from the dinette, makes it possible to exploit the full potential of the open yacht for day cruises, as guests can use this facility without entering cabins and bathrooms used by those staying overnight. The sleeping area features two en suite cabins in which one can admire the same interplay of colours and materials found in the lounge, in addition to the striking contrast between the white leather covering of the headboard and border and the dark leather on the tops of the bedside tables and bases of the beds.On this first 56’ Rivale, the soft furnishings (cushions, bedspreads, tartan blankets and wall-to-wall carpets) are also designed and supplied by Ivano Redaelli and Van Besouw. The master suite has the head on the left side, while the VIP cabin situated in the forward area features many storage compartments and a starboard side head. The heads décor consists of different woods, light and dark lacquered surfaces, mirrored surfaces and white Corian. The crew cabin has a single bed with bathroom with separate access from a hatch in the cockpit, concealed by the dormeuse. It can be replaced by a third guest cabin.ENGINES AND PERFORMANCEThe new open model is fitted with twin1000 HP MAN engines, or with twin 1200 HP MAN engines. In both cases, the propulsion system is V-Drive. With the standard engines, the 56’ Rivale can reach a cruising speed of 31 knots and a maximum speed of 35 knots. With the more powerful engines, performance increases to a cruising speed of 34 knots and a maximum speed of 38 knots respectively (preliminary data).Access to the engine room is through two hatches on the bridge, one in the centre of the cockpit and the other at the far end of the stern on the left. On request, a Seakeeper stabiliser can be fitted to minimise roll in open sea and at anchor.

Rivale is also the name of the Abarth 695 Special and Limited Edition, the new car from the brand with the scorpion badge dedicated to the 175 years of history of the world's most famous shipyard.“The celebrations for the 175th anniversary of Riva are being complemented by the unique partnership with an evoking brand such as Abarth” declared Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group. “Presenting the 56’ Rivale, an iconic name in the history of Riva which today identifies the new open - a charming, technological and powerful boat - means paying homage to our past while looking firmly into the future. Abarth was inspired by the extraordinary new Riva boat in designing its new special and limited edition model: the magnificent 695 'Rivale'. The partnership springs from common shared values, passion for excellence and research for performance, expressed as always with an unmistakably unique style."Symbols of the most authentic Italian know-how, the 56’ Rivale and the Abarth 695 Rivale are the perfect blend of craftsmanship and engineering, search for performance and enthusiasm for beauty, with the addition of the laudable ambition of turning dreams into reality. As a result of this new synergy, the timeless elegance of Riva yachts is reflected in a car made by Abarth. The latter, in turn, adds a bold and sporty touch to the most recent open yacht model made by the world's most famous shipyard. The new 56’ Rivale combines superb craftsmanship and grandiose attention to detail. With an all-new hull, it stands out for its streamline looks which inherit and develop the lines which characterise the most recent open and coupé yacht models. Another exclusive factor are the high-quality materials: polished mahogany interiors, natural teak exteriors, varnished and stainless steel details, mirrors, crystals and leather.Abarth is celebrating the Riva anniversary with an ultra-limited production of the 695 Rivale, the 175 Anniversary: 175 sedans and 175 cabriolets. It is an edition to pay homage to Italian know-how, with hand crafted details like the two-colour blue and black hand-stitched leather seats with a celebratory logo stitched onto the headrest, the carbon dashboard silk screen printed with the special logo, the special numbered plate inside and the celebratory badge on the outside of the pillar. The design of the 17” alloy rims is also special. The 695 Rivale 175 Anniversary exceeds the traditional values of Abarth and embraces the coolness of Riva to satisfy the need for exciting performance combined with a higher level of sophistication and elegance. All this charm is backed up by performance: 180 HP, 250 Nm of torque and the weight-to-power ratio of a genuine supercar (5.8 kg/HP with a mass of 1045 kg) to accelerate from 0 to 100 in 6.7”, 225 km/h of top speed. The 56’ Rivale and the Abarth 695 Rivale are the protagonists of this contemporary legend in which the inspiration and enthusiasm of brilliant men and women are reflected in the perfect beauty of extraordinary boats and cars.

We're sure that this baptism would have made him proud, because of the breathtaking beauty of the new model, the advanced technology it is equipped with, the great attention paid to detail in its design, and even the decision to introduce it in the Far East, since Carlo Riva was a pioneer of internationalising his brand on the world's major markets.”The Riva 100’ Corsaro is the result of a joint effort between Officina Italiana Design, the studio founded by designers Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, which is exclusively responsible for the entire Riva fleet, along with the Product Strategy Committee and the Engineering Department of the Ferretti Group.
Great performance of the first quarter confirms 2017 objectives.• Consolidated production value reached 562.5 million euros, +36% compared to 2015, The EBITDA of 52.7 million euros compared to 7 million euros in 2015 confirms the strong growth trend;• Net profit of 2016 reached 14 million euros.Ferretti Group presented today in Milan the financial results of 2016 and those of the first quarter of 2017. The Group announced the first elements of a two-year investment plan. 2016 results registered a consolidated production value equal to 562.5 million euros, demonstrating 36% growth compared to 414.8 million euros in 2015. This value is also higher than the one established at the beginning of 2016 at 556 million euros. The EBITDA, already in positive territory in the first quarter of 2016, managed to surpass the important threshold of 50 million euros at the end of the year, reaching 52.7 million euros compared to 7 million of the previous year. Thus, also this indicator was over the expectations. 2016 is the first year of net profit since 2008. Profit After Taxes (PAT) passed from -29 million euros in 2015 to +14.1 million euros in 2016.“In a three-year period Ferretti Group proved to be a company able to accomplish a real turn around, obtaining great commercial success, which led to well above expected financial results” commented Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group. “The new models have become the most important drivers of growth thanks to their design, quality and high standards of innovation, which made them objects of desire since their debut.I’m particularly proud to have led the Group to double-digit net results: profit which the shareholders, Weichai Group and Mr. Piero Ferrari, who never stop supporting the Group, have decided to wholly re-invest in the company. Moreover, today we are more than proud that the extraordinary success achieved by the Group gave serenity to Carlo Riva’s last years. The objectives of 2017 are challenging but possible to achieve as we can rely on further investments, on an efficient and well performing organization and on 9 new products that Ferretti Group is ready to present to the market.”In 2017 the Group’s goal is to consolidate its leadership position in the sector after the last two year’s exponential growth, with a serial brand order intake which reached 401 million euros at the end of 2016, increasing by more than 170 million euros in only two years. The possibility to reach this challenging objective is supported by 2017’s first quarter results. At 31st of March the production value was 145.8 million euros, while in the same period the EBITDA reached 11.3 million euros, with a profit already over 4 million euros.Ferretti Group also announced further investments for 46.4 million euros, of which 25 million in Research & Development while 21.4 million in the growth of the production capacity. The investments planned for the shipyards, between the end of 2017 and 2018, could bring to a personnel hiring plan for 80 young talents in all production sites, all over Lombardy, Liguria, Emilia Romagna and Marche. This growth plan will be implemented only in case of a reduction in the company’s labour costs, which could be possible due to the application of the new Welfare regulations, which at the same time guarantee the increase of the employee’s purchasing power. In order to reach this result, the collaboration of the trade unions is essential, thus Ferretti Group intends to reach an agreement as soon as possible with the latter organizations. The hiring will regard in particular the Ancona shipyard, dedicated to the construction of maxi yachts in steel and aluminium of CRN, Riva and Pershing brands and to those of Custom Line in fiberglass. The construction of all Custom Line models will be moved to the Group’s “Superyacht Yard” in Marche, where at the moment all semi-displacement vessels are built, enabling to concentrate in Ancona the building of the maxi fibreglass planing yachts too.
The Riva shipyards, the Ferretti Group and the entire world of yachting are grieving over the loss of an unrivalled creator of boats, a master of style and elegance. An extraordinary man who turned his family name into a legend and a brand into a synonym of yachting itself.Farewell Mr. Riva, and enjoy the sea in your last voyage towards the horizon. The world of yachting throughout the world bids an emotional farewell to Mr. Carlo Riva, who passed away today in his home town of Sarnico at the age of 95.Just four letters epitomize the history, the legend, the technology and the appeal of Italian made yachts. The history of a family and of an extraordinary man, the legend of a whole era that saw the launching of Italian design onto the world stage, from the days of “La Dolce Vita” through to the present day.An ongoing technological evolution which has always been the hallmark of the boats crafted in the Riva boatyards: from the timeless charm of traditional wood to state-of-the-art fibreglass and steel. Masterpieces conceived, designed, built and inspired by the genius and style of a unique man who has become a legend.“Carlo Riva has left us, the greatest of them all. The world has lost a brilliant creator of boats, a master of style, a giant in Italy's industrial and business history. To me, this is a personal loss of a master, an example of brilliance, of commitment and of dedication to work”, has commented Alberto Galassi, the Ferretti Group's Chief Executive Officer. “Carlo Riva taught us all the meaning of vision, creativity and passion. His vision and inexhaustible innovative energy make him the leading personality in the 20th century yachting world, a man whose extraordinary creations have already become legends. Carlo Riva’s boats will always be the finest in the world, a source of inspiration to all of us who feel a strong sense of responsibility for the stewardship of and for taking forward into the future the leading brand in world yachting.”CARLO RIVAMr. Riva was not just one of the most internationally esteemed and renowned entrepreneurs in the pleasure craft industry. His innovations and creations have left an indelible mark in the history of lifestyle and design, making Riva the most famous boatyard of all times and a symbol of Italy's productiveness and creative genius.Born in Sarnico on the 24th February 1922, during the golden era of motorboating, when the first speedboats were being built, he was driven from a very early age by a boundless passion for boats and for working in boatyards. He joined the family business when still very young, following in the footsteps of his father Serafino, his grandfather Ernesto and his great-grandfather Pietro, who founded the company in 1842.In 1954, Carlo opened the new, futuristic shipyard - which is still protected by the Italian Superintendence for Artistic and Architectural Heritage - and organized it based on an innovative production structure. During that same period he transformed the very idea of the boat, turning it from a transport vehicle for goods and passengers or a racing powerboat to an object of pleasure and luxury, and creating a unique product in terms of aesthetic and functional qualities, elegance and attention to detail.Carlo is the creator of Riva's golden age, the Master shipbuilder who transformed the brand and its boats into a status symbol, thanks to models like Ariston, Tritone, Sebino and Florida, through to the “legendary” Aquarama, unveiled in 1962. These boats became the objects of desire for aristocrats, actors, sporting champions, businessmen and all kinds of celebrities. They notably included Sophia Loren, Brigitte Bardot, Liz Taylor, Sean Connery, Jean Paul Belmondo, Richard Burton and Jackie Stewart, to name a few.As well as royalty, princes and sheiks from every corner of the world. In the 50s and 60s, during Italy’s industrial reconstruction and “economic miracle” driven by a fascination for speed and racing cars, Carlo Riva grasped the spirit of the age and created boats in wood with an unmistakable design. These nautical masterpieces immediately distinguished themselves for the fine materials, meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship with which they were created. The first of these was the Ariston, about which Carlo Riva said: “It was designed with love and is strong and pure like a thoroughbred horse. Unforgettable! My Lord of the seas.” This luxury “sea car”, the forefather of motorboats to come, was followed by the Tritone, the first twin-engine boat. Then came the Sebino, which ushered in standard production, and the Florida, whose name is a tribute to the United States and to the magic of that state. The yachts created under Carlo Riva's direction have all been inspired by an idea which anticipated demand, launching a new fashion which is always the result of a research in design and construction which always makes all the difference. In 1962, with the production of the Aquarama, Riva became the foremost and iconic boatyard in the yachting world. Some 21 of these boats were sold during the first year of production, and a year later the Super version was brought out. The Aquarama remained in production until the 90s, and the last one made, the #784, is still housed in the museum of the Boatyard, in Sarnico.Carlo Riva showed entrepreneurial foresight yet again in 1969, when he created the first fibreglass boat, demonstrating his great capacity for innovation while at the same time preserving traditional values. His unique and inexhaustible entrepreneurial spirit comes through not just from the boats he made but also from his ability to predict needs and opportunities. Anticipating the needs of yacht owners he in fact designed the Riva Boat Service, to provide technical and sales assistance. Having left the shipyard in 1972, the focus of his interests shifted to the International Tourist Port of Rapallo, which was dedicated to him on 25 July 1975 and bears his name since that day.In 2005, in Monaco, his “best-loved home” on the French Riviera, Carlo Riva was conferred the title of “Personnalité de la Mer” by Prince Albert II of Monaco. Carlo Riva has always been there to give advice, help and support to the Riva Boatyards: it is with great emotion that we remember his presence last spring at the launch of Rivamare, the latest masterpiece from the Sarnico boatyards.Carlo Riva died peacefully in his home town of Sarnico on 10 April 2017, perhaps, as he himself used to say, “With a touch of nostalgia in reliving the long ride of my wonderful life as a boatman”.

The large-volume Ferretti Yachts 700 sports flybridge is particularly popular in these markets, and will also be celebrating its debut in Asia’s city-state.Year after year, the Singapore Yacht Show is becoming one of the top events attended by leading boatyards in this part of the continent, attracting guests and enthusiasts from all around Asia as well as Europe and America. The location of the event also plays a hand in its success: the prestigious One °15 Marina Sentosa Cove is a splendid arena covering an area of more than 4000 square metres.Ferretti Group will be taking part in the 2017 boat show with the support of its exclusive dealer Hong Seh. After coming aboard the floating stand, guests and yacht owners will be able to admire the fleet of 6 splendid 45 to 75 feet yachts on display, representing the Ferretti Yachts, Pershing and Riva brands. The yacht was designed with a family feeling with the Ferretti Yachts 550, one of its most recent successes, being its “big brother”. The Ferretti Yachts 450 stands out for the design of its hull, its generous volumes, its elegant looks, and the practical layout of its interiors and exteriors.Ferretti Yachts 700The Ferretti Yachts 700 is the evolution of one of the most recent successes of Ferretti Group’s historical brand. Its sleek and aggressive profile makes it one of the sportiest yachts in the brand’s history. The hull has been redesigned to let in more light and offer even bigger views of the sea through the extensive glazing in the hull - three windows on each bulwark - designed to match the others on the new 55 foot yacht without pillars and with the portholes glued and fitted flush. Aboard, the volumes are worthy of much larger yachts and are ideal for enjoying the sailing experience to the full, in close contact with the sea.Pershing 5xThe first of the “Generation X” Pershing yachts is the latest fabulous coupé in a fleet that is becoming increasingly cutting-edge and spellbinding. The letter X – a code used in the aeronautical world to refer to extreme performance and technological evolution - alludes to the unquenchable thirst to set sail for new horizons at speed. The lines, the propulsion systems and the performance of the Pershing 5X have already won over yachting enthusiasts in Europe and the United States. Now, the super fast “thrill” of the Pershing 5X is ready to seduce yacht owners in Asia too.

Ferretti Yachts 450 is distinguished by the hull geometry, the amplitude of the volumes, elegance and functionality in setting the interior by enhancing a family feeling with the "big brother" Ferretti Yachts 550, one of the biggest recent successes of the brand.RIVA 88’ DOMINO SUPERThe 88’ Riva Domino Super immediately strikes the eye for its slender, streamlined profile, which is further highlighted by the dark grey hull. Other important design solutions bear witness to the great value of this evolution:- the new sundeck that enhances the yacht’s sporty character and offers guests additional comfort;- the outdoor pilot station that has been moved to the central part of the boat and has a very limited size, thereby making room for a large sofa at the bow;- the large uninterrupted hull glazing, featuring a very aggressive design, extends across the yacht, almost like an arrow, from the central part of the boat to the extreme bow.
Riva reveals the design for its latest open yacht at BOOT 2017 in Düsseldorf, ahead of its debut planned for late spring this year.It only happens at Riva, the only yachting brand to have left its mark on both the social scene and the world of design: every new yacht is an event that leaves owners and enthusiasts with bated breath until the magical moment of its unveiling. Those who just couldn’t wait and simply had to be the first to discover the secrets and latest features of the new Riva 56’, this magnificent open yacht was revealed during BOOT 2017 in Düsseldorf. The new vessel is already in build at the Sarnico yard and will make its debut before the end of the spring, joining the fleet that includes some icons of the yachting world, from the Aquariva Super to the more recent Rivamare. The yacht has a completely new hull form and brings the most popular technical and design choices on board, as well as innovative features and elements offering even higher levels of comfort than those that have highlighted the success of Riva yachts over the last three years. The Riva 56’ is the result of the joint efforts of Officina Italiana Design - the studio founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta – Ferretti Group's Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department. The result is a stylish combination of the most prestigious materials and attention to detail that has always been the hallmark of the Riva world: from the high gloss mahogany of the interiors to the natural teak of the exteriors, the lacquered finishes and stainless steel, mirrors, glass and leather. Profile and ExteriorsThe sleek look of the new 56’ inherits and expands the stylistic traits that characterised the latest generation of opens and coupés by Riva. So you will find large glazed windows running along the hull with flush portholes, aggressive metallic colours on the exteriors (the first vessel will be in Shark Grey) and opulent detailing in stainless steel and wood. The seamless windshield protecting the superstructure completes the aerodynamic profile, a true masterpiece of engineering and design. In the stern, the Riva 56’ introduces an important new development in the system used to move the swimming platform. As you walk down to the swimming platform, the steps continue under water to reveal additional steps built into the hull. This new feature makes it possible to go directly up into the cockpit without having to use the steel ladder, although this is also available for use. The aft area features a garage accommodating a Williams 325 tender behind the carbon fibre hatch. In the cockpit, the mooring gear is housed in a compartment in the bulwark, covered by a stainless steel grille, as in other recent models. Even the fairleads are made entirely of stainless steel. The living space has been cleverly organised with a generous sundeck in the extreme stern that feels almost suspended over the waves and leads into the lounge on the main deck. Underneath the roll bar, the comfortable forward-facing sofa combines with the L-shaped sofa and teak dining table to form a pleasant area to enjoy lunch, with a slightly raised dormeuse, next to the bridge. To starboard, the cabinet unit can accommodate a fridge, ice-maker, grill, sink and storage compartments, and stretches as far as the bridge seating and is integrated into its base. The roll bar not only adds a finishing touch to the profile, it also acts as a support for the antennas. In case of bad weather, or if the owner simply wants some shade, the electro-hydraulically operated bimini top can be opened, as can the clear side shields, offering excellent protection for the area.Access to the engine room will be possible through two hatches on the bridge, one in the centre of the cockpit and the other on the left aide aft. The foredeck has a sun pad that can be protected with a top, and there is a glazed floor area with a special non-slip surface set into a stainless steel frame, completed by the ship’s horn fitted in a marvellous vintage case in high-gloss stainless steel – a tribute to Riva’s glorious past. The technical mooring space in the bow completes the area.InteriorsThe standard layout offers two guest cabins and three bathrooms, with a dinette, galley and crew cabin with separate access. The master cabin amidships has an en-suite bathroom on the left side. The L-shaped dinette and galley are just as you go below deck, featuring mirrored surfaces and a vast amount of storage compartments, plus fridge and TV. The glass hatch cover increases the natural light in the dinette.Forward is the VIP cabin and its many storage areas. The addition of a day head accessed directly from the dinette is an important benefit, as it makes it possible to exploit the full potential of the open for day cruises with several guests who can use this facility without having to enter the master or guest cabins. The crew cabin has a single bunk and head, with separate access from a hatch in the cockpit, concealed by the dormeuse. It can be substituted with a third guest cabin on request.Engines and PerformanceThe Riva 56’ will be fitted with twin 1000 HP MAN engines, or twin 1200 HP MAN engines on request. Both configurations feature a V-Drive propulsion system and, again on request, a Seakeeper stabiliser can be fitted to minimise roll when underway and at anchor.
in the wake of the success of the 100’ Corsaro, Riva presents the new fibreglass flagship. Scheduled debut: Fall 2017Another thrilling chapter for Riva opens in the maxi yacht sector in the pursuit of style, elegance and raw performance. The most renowned shipyard in the world officially presents the Riva 110’, the flagship of our fibreglass fleet, succeeding the Riva 100’ Corsaro as the next-generation model in our restyled flybridge range.A collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the studio founded by Mauro Micheli in collaboration with Sergio Beretta, the Strategic Product Committee and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, the Riva 110’ promises to be a flybridge of boundless beauty and unprecedented elegance. The design of the hull has been fully refreshed and is now almost 112 feet (34 metres) in length, and a width of over 22 feet (7 metres). The exterior design builds on the untamed lines of the 100’ Corsaro: distinguished by her sporty profile, the hull of the Riva 110’ boasts an impressive glass wall and integrated portholes. On deck, a stretched glass roof extends over the length of the entire living area, constructed with panes nestled in a stainless steel frame. A second window surrounds the wide body master suite as far as the nose of the bow, complementing the sleek design. In addition, the raised bridge enjoys expansive front and side windshields. Two lateral fibreglass structures, finished with glass, reinforce the flybridge in the stern, further accentuating the aerodynamic profile. A streamlined hardtop with an innovative asymmetrical design, moulded glass and chrome inserts, completes the yacht and exemplifies the obsessive attention to the finest details.STERN AND MAIN DECK As found on the Ferretti Yachts 850 and the Riva Corsaro 100’, the stern includes a submersible hatch, featuring Ferretti Group’s innovative, patent-pending actuating system. Experts have already lauded the hatch with a victory at the 2016 Boat Builder Awards in Amsterdam. The stern garage door opens and tilts down creating a generous beach club area at water level. The platform may also be submerged to offer maximum enjoyment from the stern area. Once beneath the water, a lift opens the garage for practical and straightforward launches; choose to store a Williams 505 or a jet-ski with independent launches, or enjoy staggered launches for larger tenders such as the Williams 565 and a jet-ski.The cockpit on the main deck features a C-shaped sofa, table and chairs and leads into the main salon. An extensive open-plan space enhances the convivial atmosphere and includes both a living and formal dining area. The deck features yet another elegant innovation: a polished stainless steel frame supporting the superstructure and glass from top to bottom. This allows natural light to flood the three-dimensional space, creating a luxury loft open to the ocean on all sides. As on the larger yachts, the central zone serves to regulate the flow of crew and guests by keeping their circulation routes separate. To the left is access to the guest area below deck and the main deck master suite. To the right is access to the bridge, the galley and the below-deck crew cabins. The left-hand lobby offers access to the external companionway, as well as the day head and stairs to the lower deck. It also leads to the wide body master suite, with a double bed located in the centre, the bathroom and walk-in wardrobe facing the stern to enhance separation from the service areas, particularly the galley. The suite is finished on the right with an armchair and coffee table, and on the left with a spacious walk-in wardrobe and a desk with panoramic sea views.LOWER DECKGuest accommodation is comprised of 4 VIP cabins with vanity tables and en-suite bathrooms. The starboard VIP cabin forward has twin beds and may accommodate, on request, an additional Pullman bed.The crew area in the bow consists of a captain’s cabin with en-suite bathroom, and two additional single crew cabins each equipped with bunk beds and private bathrooms. Crew amenities also include a dinette complete with laundry facilities and a fully-equipped galley. The engine room is accessed via the left-hand side of the cockpit, passing first through the machine and systems room. This guarantees both increased practicality and safe accessibility, even during navigation, as well as reducing the noise in the cockpit to a minimum.FLYBRIDGE AND EXTERIOR BOW AREAThe sundeck of the Riva 110’ is striking in its sporty and innovative design. In the stern, the furnished open air sundeck is enclosed by a mahogany handrail finished with stainless steel and polished carbon fibre. There is also a cocktail bar with two stools and an informal dining area with C-shaped sofa, all naturally illuminated thanks to a glass skylight in the hardtop roof. The helm station is situated on the right side, with co-pilot seats on the left. The flybridge is not only accessible from deck through a sliding glass and steel hatch, but it also linked to the foredeck through a side door on the left. This permits easy access to the facilities and offers practical crew access to on-board services. The space is dominated by a C-shaped sofa opposite a centrepiece sunpad, all designed to promote sociability. On request, it is possible to substitute the sunpad with a garage in which to store an additional tender or water toy with appropriate launching crane. On deck, freestanding furniture may also be accommodated to increase the flexibility of the space.Alternatively, the owner may opt for a Jacuzzi with sliding integrated sun-pad covers. This conceals both the Jacuzzi pool and the mooring stations, offering guests the ultimate in refinement. On this model, the area is equipped with a practical stowage compartment.ENGINE AND PERFORMANCEThe Riva 110’ sports twin MTU 16V series 2000 M94 engines, each outputting 2638 mhp. With this engine setup, the yacht will reach a cruising speed of 23 knots and a maximum speed of 26 knots (preliminary data). The maxi yacht also benefits from zero speed and underway fins, to which a gyroscopic stabilizer may be fitted to maximise comfort, even when anchored.

The model was inspired by a family feeling and a connection to its “big sister”, Ferretti Yachts 550, one of the recent hits of the brand. Ferretti Yachts 450 is characterized by the geometry of the hull, the size of the volume, and the elegance and functionality of the interiors.Pershing 5XThe first model of "Generation X" Pershing is the new coupe of the fleet: always more advanced and always more filled with surprises. The letter X - aeronautical code referring to extreme performance and cutting-edge technological evolution - evokes the endless push to sail to new horizons at extreme speed. The pure lines, performance and uniqueness of the Pershing 5X have already conquered the public.RivamareThis new icon in style and design writes an exciting and splendid page in the 175 years of Riva history. The great first of the Sarnico shipyard is a gem of sinuous lines, precious material, unique details, and worthy heir to masterpieces such as Aquariva Super and, before that, Aquarama. This is a contemporary masterpiece.Ferretti Yachts 700Ferretti Yachts 700 is the evolution of one of the most recent successes of the historic brand of the Ferretti Group. The streamlined and aggressive profile is among the sportiest in the brand's history. The hull has been modified to welcome light and sea views thanks to large hull-shaped windows, three on each side, designed in the family style like the ones on the new 55 foot, without uprights and glued flush portholes.
The Riva coupé triumphed in the category Custom Yachts during the ceremony held at the London Boat Show. The Riva 76’ Perseo has won the first nautical award of 2017, confirming the supremacy of style, comfort and technology that has made it one of the biggest hits in Riva’s recent history. The setting of this triumph is the 2017 edition of “Motor Boat Awards”, organized by IPC Media, the British publisher of some of the most important international nautical magazines. The ceremony took place in London last Monday, 9th of January, during the Gala dinner organized at “The Rosewood Hotel”, in conjunction with the 63th edition of the London Boat Show which will run until the 15th of January, and to which Ferretti Group participates through its exclusive dealer Ventura UK. The Riva 76’ Perseo, characterized by a unique design and a deep sporting spirit, was awarded the prize in the Custom Yachts category. The Custom Line 108’ was In the same shortlist, reflecting the unanimous appreciation of the Ferretti Group models by the jury and industry professionals. The award has a particular value, as it is allocated on the basis of technical, aesthetic, innovative criteria, and only awarded after thorough performance tests and sea trials carried out by journalists and the publishing house, supported by engineers in shipyards. “This new victory in Great Britain, as part of an important trade show like the London Boat Show, is a great achievement” - says Stefano de Vivo, Chief Commercial Officer of Ferretti Group.“This year, we triumphed with a yacht that has received prestigious awards and unanimous success since its debut at the 2015 Cannes Yachting Festival. With this new prize, the 76’ Perseo confirms itself as a true icon in the Riva coupe fleet. For us, then, to receive this award here has even more value because the United Kingdom, as well as a country of great tradition and nautical culture, is a strategic market in which Ferretti Group is proud to represent the Italian design excellence and industry.”Riva 76’ PerseoThe new coupe stems from the cooperation between Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee, the Group’s Engineering Department, and designer Mauro Micheli, co-founder, together with Sergio Beretta, of Officina Italiana Design, the design firm that exclusively pencils Riva's entire fleet. It was born in the “family feeling” with the other models in the sporty range. At first glance the yacht reflects sportiness and elegance, thanks to the wise choice of hull and superstructure colors. The sporty look is further enhanced by the more than 430 square feet of glass surfaces. The large windows in the hull, used on both sides, is composed of two elliptical surfaces, which are connected to each other by the Riva logo, made of a material that has always distinguished the brand: polished stainless steel. The large sundeck is harmoniously integrated in the aerodynamic lines of the yacht and allows you to relax in privacy, as well as giving the opportunity to steer the yacht from a privileged position.

The Submersible Hatch system, first implemented on the new Ferretti Yachts 850, was recognized as best in category for Innovative On Board Design Solution. The strong efforts in Research & Development allowed Ferretti Group to defeat its competitors once again, conquering a new prestigious prize to add to its important history. The Group won the Boat Builder Awards for Business Achievement in the Innovative On Board Design Solution category, one of the eight competing areas of the prestigious event organized by METSTRADE and IBI (International Boating Industry) magazine. The ceremony took place in Amsterdam last Wednesday evening, during the Marine Equipment Trade Show. The prize, sponsored by FUSION, a leading company in the production of stereo systems, speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers designed specifically for the marine use, recognized Ferretti Group for its new float-in garage and stern opening system developed in collaboration with H + B Technics. The Submersible Hatch can be found on the new Ferretti Yachts 850. It allows the stern garage door to open and tilt down onto the beach area, creating a larger beach club at water level. Once the door is over the platform, it automatically aligns and then lowers diagonally under the water together with the central part of the platform. In this way, the garage is flooded to launch the tender and jet-ski. The platform can then be submerged to various depths, allowing guests to prepare for sea activities or simply relax in the water. This successful solution not only enhances the owners’ enjoyment of their boats but presents outstanding engineering and design elements. It has been registered as a patent of the Ferretti Group and will be featured on future model, starting with the new Riva 100’ Corsaro. This approach made it possible to implement several other technologically advanced and patented solutions, such as the Convertible Top on Riva 88’ Florida and 76’ Bahamas and the Dual Mode Transom (DMT) system, installed on board all the latest Custom Line maxi yacht.

On the 76’ Bahamas, it effectively doubles the comfort and fun to be enjoyed on board.“Written into the 76’ Bahamas is Riva's current DNA: a perfect synthesis of history and tradition, of innovation and technology, of elegance and performance” says Alberto Galassi, Chief Executive Officer of the Ferretti Group. “The new convertible epitomises the synergy between excellence in yacht design and excellence in naval engineering that has produced a super sports boat. With graceful lines and rich in technical features, it is built using cutting-edge materials and sails like a dream. Owners will enjoy an unforgettable experience thanks to the sophisticated Mediterranean lifestyle offered by this yacht.”The new model is a further step in the evolutionary path that led to the launch, in May 2015, of the 88’ Domino Super and 88’ Florida, the coupé and convertible yachts born of the same design tradition and guided by a similar spirit. In just over a year these models have won the hearts of Riva enthusiasts around the world. On the strength of these successes Riva announces the 76’ Bahamas, a brilliant way to close the circle of a pioneering and winning vision. The outcome of a collaborative project between Officina Italiana Design - the studio founded and headed by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta - the Group's Product Strategy Committee and Marketing Department, as well as the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, the yacht is based on the technical platform of the 76’ Perseo, Riva’s much-desired coupé model. The aerodynamic profile of the hull, in Shark Grey with contrasting detailing in Bright Black, features generous hull glazing intersected by the Riva logo in chrome-plated steel. The engine room is a carry-over from the coupé, as is the layout of the crew cabin, accessed from the cockpit through a compartment built into the sofa on the left. The hatch, the tender launching/landing systems, and the moving features of the beach platform, create a perfect area both technically and for sheer enjoyment. The layout of the cockpit and helm station, the design of the master suite and lower deck living space, as well as the entire interior styling, have been custom designed for the new convertible. The spacious cockpit is fitted with a sun pad overlooking the beach platform, and a chaise longue and sofa adjacent to the side companionways. In the master lobby, there is a washer-dryer housed inside a practical storage space. Stainless steel gives a final touch to the overall style of the 76’ Bahamas design, with its stunning combinations of materials and light and dark colour contrasts, a hallmark of the Riva style. The worktops and floors of the galley and bathrooms are in Corian - or marble, on request.THE NEW “C-TOP”The aerodynamic roof is made of carbon fibre , a material chosen for its light weight and technical characteristics.
