After being displayed at the first two boat shows of the new nautical year – Cannes and Monaco – the Riva range moved to the 48th International Boat Show in Genoa.
All ten models currently in production at the two shipyards - Sarnico and La Spezia - were present at the most important Italian appointment dedicated to pleasure boating, which opened on Saturday October 4th in a wonderful sunny day. The boat show also provided the opportunity for Riva to display some important new 2008 models as Italian previews, namely the brand new 92’ Duchessa, launched in September at the Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes, and the Super version of the hugely successful 68’ Ego. Another innovation was the renewed standard version of 75’ Venere which, thanks to a layout based on the warm shades of elm matched with leather inserts in the walls and furniture, has become even more graceful and comfortable.
This year, Riva was in Genoa with two stands. The first, the Ferretti Stand, was in Piazzale Marina 1 (outdoor), where Aquariva Cento, Rivarama, Rivale, SportRiva 56’, 63’ Vertigo, 68’ Ego Super were on display, as well as 75’ Venere and 85’ Opera Super in the wharf opposite. The two flagships of the fleet, 92’ Duchessa and 115’ Athena, on the other hand, were on show in the megayacht area, where there was a second Riva lounge.
